Where Arsenal were very smart was when they ran up the scores against Sheffield, Burnley, Crystal Palace and West Ham in a very short period of time in a five week span. The combined score in those 4 matches alone was 22-0 and accounts for just under 40% of their +56 goal difference. Not many people mentioned it at the time. But that was when they exploded their goal difference into orbit. And it could end up being a huge factor in the run in because it’s essentially an extra point for them.

The thing is Logan has got a point to an extent. He could of used an different set of circumstances and example to prove his point. For example say last season, Arsenal only lost the league to the VAR decision at Brentford when he didn't put the lines up and City won by a point or goal difference. Same scenario this year if Liverpool got beat by a point or goal difference and that VAR howler at spurs cost them. Would the team who won the league be the best team?

I kinda get what he means. When he says best team, he means the team that has played the most attractive football, best defence and best attacking play. Some would argue they are. I'd sooner watch arsenal than Liverpool this season, and arguably better than city. The best team/most attractive team doesn't always win. Look at Man U... They are 6th: are they really the 6th best team in the league? We're they really the 3rd best team last year? They have been dreadful. Pep will admit that city haven't been at their best this season but are grinding out results when it matters. Arsenal have arguably been a better team to watch, but probably won't amass the moss points to equal that. I despise the gunners, by the way, but I'm also fair.

The London mentality illustrates why it means more if a London team wins the title. If Arsenal win it this year just think how many local rivals they have had to go through hating on them. City don't have that other than Liverpool and United who will desperately try to stop them for local pride.
