Arsenal dropped 2points against City, and 3points against Villa (taking only second half of the season into consideration) City won the league by 2points, so what does that mean? If Arsenal won against Villa even after drawing city, they’d win the league by 1 point. On the other hand, if Arsenal win City and lost against Villa, the both teams would be on the same point, and trust me, City would have had a higher goal difference knowing that it would be the decider. So, in conclusion, Arsenal lost the league when they lost to Villa, Simple.
