I love Jorginho and am very happy to hear he is staying at Arsenal. He brings so much value to the squad. His pass to Kai Havertz goal was brilliant.

I would keep Jorginho too, when we were 5 points off of Liverpool and about to play them his MOM performance inspired our win to drag us back into the title conversation. Had we lost that game we'd have been 8 behind and almost certainly out of it altogether. He's a really experienced and calming player to bring off of the bench. At least for another year. In the meantime I would be looking to move injury prone players like Partey and ESR on to fund someone like Frankie de Jong to come in. De Jong, Rice and Odegaard would be incredible.

I still believe we need to sign 2 midfielders regardless if Partey and Jorginho stay. Elneny is leaving 100%, Partey is injury prone and Jorginho will play maybe 30% of the season. We need squad depth. 1 marquee midifield signing preferably a CM, and a cheaper CDM would probably be the wiser decision. That would leave funds available to buy an expensive striker/winger, a RCB, and a LB.

@@henrybankolearekete7054 I agree we don't need a LB, but there has been a lot of talks about Arteta wanting another one. Zinny is unreliable and probably only good against teams with low blocks. Kiwior and Tomi aren't bad there defensively, but they're not great with the ball nor are they good passers/crossers. Timber is probably going to play in various roles from LB, Rb to even cdm but he used to play CB as well. Right now Odegaard is almost fulfilling a CM role dropping deep to carry the ball. his goal scoring stats have suffered compared to last year due to playing deeper this season. I think it's imperative we have another player that can play CM. Vieira, as much as I've supported him when people have doubted him, isn't physically strong enough to play that role. He gets bullied too easily. I want a solid CM that can dribble past players, is press resistant, can tackle and a reliable dristributor. Zubi is fixated with staying in Spain and I don't want a player even if we meet a release clause fee, who hasn't got his heart in Arsenal. We also need a CDM to give Rice a rest and regardless whether we keep Partey or not, we need a physically capable player to be available. Jorginho won't play more than 30% of games. He's usually used in more tactical battles. All the players you mentioned to fill in the void left behind potential players that are leaving won't be easy to buy. I'm not interested in names as I trust Arteta and Edu, so I focus mainly on profiles we need. We can raise about 130-150m with player sales and add CL and EPL tv money, that could be another 250m+ on top. We also have sponsorship earnings and property trading profits as well. If the new PSR rules come into effect next season, we have 70% of commercial revenue to spend on players, but this includes wages as well. Our wage bill could still rise after selling our players and replacing them with a couple of marquee signings and other new players. We're in a healthy financial position to invest big on players. I don't think we'll buy another 100m player, but I can see us spending about 200m on 3-4 players this summer. There has been a lot of talk about investing more in our youth teams as well.

People knocking Jorginho because of his age? _He's one player who has a great calming effect on the team. I can't recall the game, but he was on the touchline warming up giving out advice. He's going to be a great coach when he retires. As for Partey. How many games has he played for us since he returned? Is it two? But he's played really well since coming back. The only thing he's lacking is game time so he's bound to be a little rusty right now. And people complain that he's given the ball away? Wow! How little they know about todays football. We will have to sell some players this summer, but we'll need to get in at least 5 players. From the back we need someone who can play LB or RB and another CB. We also need cover for Saka too. We need another DM and someone who can take over for our Skipper when/if he gets injured. He's only doing 70 to 75 mins per game right now as it is. But we definitely need someone who can stick the ball in the back of the net. *#COYGsince66*

Our mid was so strong last year. Then we sold xhaka and had to rebuild. We gonna sell partey this year and rebuild again? Just keep partey ffs and add another 8 .

Ultimately, it's not about Partey or Jorgingho it's about finding another Rice. Partey is too expensive to be sitting in the treatment room. I'm sure Arteta would love to sign another Partey someone who can play 6 or 8 and absolutely boss it. But first and foremost, I guarantee their injury record and fitness will be a huge deciding factor. ❤😂 I don't know what Parteys issue/s are but irrespective of your ability we don't need another Abou Diaby.

I don’t see any problem in Jorginho’s new deal. Note there are lot and lots of football to be played next season. Also arsenal was kicked of both Fa and the caraboa cup due to lack of quality squad depth. Jorginho staying doesn’t mean Arsenal won’t sign a new midfielder. Am really interested to see Arteta’s signing this summer because that’s gonna say a lot about next season. Wanna see some players leave.

I don't think Zubimendi will leave. He seems happy to stay and establish himself at Real Sociedad. A Frenkie De Jong profile would be ideal, but he's going to cost about 60-70m. We can easily afford that but Barca still owe him 16m in wages which is mandatorily payable in June and possibly want to keep him for experience because they have such a young midfield atm. Speaking of Barca, Fermin Lopez and Pedri are going to be superstars in the coming years. Barca will have about 6 midfielders not including De Jong so there is a chance he might be available. This is the type of player I believe we should be targeting if we want to win the EPL and compete in Europe.

Where Arsenal needs investment is 1Diomande , a defender capable of playing Saliba and Gabriel wrole and will deliver same end results as though It’s Saliba and Gabriel 2 Javi Guerra … A midfielde like Sergio Bousquet or Rodri who needs to study the Arteta way of playing no6 wrole and be integrated swiftly into our midfield 321-yr old Niko Williams from Athletic club who is both feet player and a very pacy player too … he will deputise nicely for either of Saka and Martineli … he will compete really nicely with saka and Martineli and he’s not injury prone player and he won’t command high wages or transfer fees … He has at least 14-assist this season and 8-goals as a winger. 421-yrs old Dutch Bologna Striker Joshua Zirkey … he has scored and assist and goals involvement more then Jesus and Nketia combined this season … He’s a perfect fit for Arteta tactical style of play and he will stay more on grass than on treatment table + he will command lesser transfer fee and lesser weekly wages 5Isaak from Newcastle , Provided we are selling Jesus , Bring in Isaak to replace him … I would have said Victor Geokerez but Isaak has 2-seasons Epl experience already and I strongly believe he will fit in perfectly in Arteta system + he’s played with Odegaard before for 2-seasons. Note: I am simply saying the current Arsenal has outgrown players like Jesus and Nketia … Arsenal is evolving each season and this 2-guys are not involving on the upward progress let alone evolving … We will command a good sale fee on both of them and we will free up a legit wages on both.

Javi Guerra is A legit Partey Replacement Javi Guerra is Sergio-Bousquet Regen and he’s 21-yrs old We may not Necessarily need to invest heavily in our midfield if we retain Jorginho and Partey for one more season … But we should sign this Valencia player Javi Guerra to come in now and study Partey playing for a season as we integrate him into Artseta system Javi Guerra will give us exactly what Sergio Bousqet or Rodri is giving city currently.

Rice can play as a 6 but he's being used more as a 8, we don't have a long term 6 as yet so we are keeping the "sure" quality we have now until we find and secure a long term 6 plus this new deal secures his value until when we are ready to sell. We will buy a midfielder(s) in the summer. We should sell partey and buy a long term 6. Arsenal is doing the right thing....

The Player Arsenal need to sign is De Jong the way him and Rice would compliment each other. He can play as a 6 and as an 8, just like Rice those two would work really well together. Jorginho has to stay especially as Partey will be leaving. I think get De Jong you have Rice , Jorginho, Odegaard and you get Gibbs white and I will be happy with that set of midfielders. De Jong plays those through the lines passes he will be so much cheap than Bruno who Newcastle would command how much money. I would love to keep Partey but the injuries are just to much.

No one Has said he’s the first player to get injured also There is plenty of discussion to be had around rotation and I’ve already had it on the channel and will have it again at the end of the season
