Palace are hardly going to sell Guehi, Eze & Olise! We have cover at CB with White, Kiwior & Tomiyasu so although Guehi is a great CB, we need to strengthen in other areas this window.

Crazy thing is we could spend £135m and sign Fofana (£25m), Toney (£50m) and Olise (£60m), and that £135 could, feasibly, be raised from selling Ramsdale, Zinny, Lokonga, Viera, ESR, Nelson, and Eddie....or at least a combination of seven players named, which would then allow us to STILL have our transfer budget left to spend. No doubt a backup GK would be needed, and either a full back or CB (as we'd still have Tierney, Timber, Tomi, Kiwior, Gabriel, Saliba and White), then we get an attacking 8 and we're gravy. But hey.....this isn't Football Manager, right? 😂

I can't see any truth to the Guehi "links". He plays week in week out for Palace, which in turn has seen him now an England first team player (albeit mostly due to Maguires injury), nevertheless he's a full international off the back of playing first team Prem footy for years. He comes to Arsenal and he's holding bench, no one is playing ahead of Gabriel and Saliba, rightly so, and (thankfully) they don't seem to pick up injuries and play every week. What's more likely is that he moves to Utd, can also see them getting Olise, especially as they have a decent relationship with Palace after their deals for Zaha and AWB.

I personally could care less about the fixture orientation and think a lot of people focus on a few trees and miss the entire forest.. We play each team twice across a season -- if you have a quality 11 and quality depth on the bench to consistently rotate them out without skipping too much a beat, then it doesn't matter when the opposition is played. Talking about not wanting to play big games away near the tail end of the season, yet we fumbled the league title at home against Villa. Something that artetasexual "top gooners" won't like to account for is that there'll be more CL fixtures this season, and we must have deep runs in the cups and at least be lifting up something this year. This halfwit passion merchant moonlighting as a so-called manager *still* hasn't learned how to rotate a squad to keep them fit and sharp over a season. And once again our season will be defined on the transfers we bring in. If we continue to fail bringing in players that get us over the line, we're just going to keep repeating this same story year after year and the terminally-online zesty artetasexuals will keep rewriting the narrative and justify mediocrity year after year like our trophy cabinet isn't caked with dust.
