The issue with Arsenal this season has always been the attacking tempo. Our passing is simply too slow in transition, so by the time the ball gets to the wingers they are triple marked in a dense structure. Man City avoid this very well with their trademark quick passes between the lines. If we sign a natural LCM and play with selective urgency, these problems are easily solved.

With both Partey and Timber _possibly_ coming back by the end of February, they'll be like two great, new signings for us. However, we really do need a *_20+ goals a season_* striker. I'm still unsure about Eddie and Jesus has never been a prolific scorer. But Jesus is damn good at holding the ball up and waiting for others to arrive. And our 3rd goal against Palace was sublime. From Raya's throw, to Jesus running forwards and that clinical pass to Trossard to bury the ball into the back of the net. And then Martinelli arrived arrived on the scene with two great, almost carbon copy goals. He's always eager to go past players too. And he's so damn talented. Even more so than Saka. In my opinion. If Martinelli had someone like White supporting him _(As Saka has.)_ with overlapping runs, Martinelli would really shine. *#COYGsince66*

Emi Martinez won win his first trophy (FA), proving his absolute worth; he sells guy that he became the best goalie in the world in a matter of months, practically winning the WC with/for Argentina; Leno is also a very good keeper, one of the top 5 keepers in EPL - makes few errors; he sells the guy and buys Ramsdale and the guy proves doubters wrong to win EPL Goalie of the year and gets in England national team; then Arteta strikes again, removes him and brings Raya who's been shaky ever since, dishing out errors almost every match, lost Arsenal some matches like Newcastle, and having occasional good games - a smallish man by GK standards. He's focusing on strengthening areas of strength rather than weak areas like a top 9 to replace Aubameyang, and top no. 8 after unwisely letting Xhaka go, and a proper LB, RB and RW; he's been buying makeshifts there - Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, White, Kiwior, Timber - all CBs - and it shows in the team's sluggish attack

Why would we drop Partey deeper? I think we should drop Rice deeper. He's far more reliable on D, doesn't get caught out like Partey, and Thomas is more of an offensive threat anyways. Rice can break the lines, but let's be real..his strong suit is his defense, not his offense.

Saka, Kia, martinelli, Jesus can't win Arsenal anything because they can't score goals week in week out and any serious club that is really want to win the league ahead of man city and Liverpool should be scoring more goals and concede less goals in the defense.
