newcastle are missing their first choice keeper, three of their first choice defenders, two first choice midfielders and two attackers. If Man U were missing Dalot, Onana, Mainoo, Casemiro and Garnacho on top of their current injuries which are all defenders then there would be more talk.

City are still favourites for me. But Liverpool have shot themselves in the foot - again. They should be way out in front by now, but they've thrown away too many games this season. I think Klopp was just disappointed. He knows they should have won and that they blew it.

You say arsenal has a tough run in but as you list those fixtures I just think that arsenal will sweep aside most of those teams. Arsenal have made difficult fixtures look easy for a while now, and it's helped by the fact they basically don't concede many chances and almost no goals

I’m with you. It’s not just about the game though, Salah shouldn’t be getting stick from Liverpool fans. He’s been a modern day icon for us. Nunez has never been prolific so why have a go now? Just whining after a bad game. As a fan who got into football from 1998 this is the only prolonged success I have ever seen from my team. Appreciate what you have.

What's the controversy with the Wolves offside decision? The player was standing directly in front of the keeper while in an offside position. It's unambiguous. West Ham have had similar goals ruled out this season. How that got a discussion on MoTD and the Newcastle penalty against West Ham last weekend didn't, I will never know.

Sometimes the shots just don’t drop or an opposition player steps up and scores a great goal, especially against tougher sides away from home. You need luck in football for those things to always go your way and with Arsenal’s run-in you’d expect at least 1 of those sides they’re facing to ride their luck and take a point. But who knows, they definitely could beat the odds.

Had to pause at the Salah criticism point to write this, but as a Liverpool fan myself I've never been critical of Salah. But recently the guy isn't playing for the team, doesn't look for his team mates enough for an easy tap in. Against United Salah had 2 chances to square for an easy tap in and on one occasion shot on his weak and skied it and the other again weak foot and went wide, he square's one of those we win the game, so imo the criticism is warranted on recent performances and even a Salah if not playing for the team is right to be pointed out.
