Players come and go all the time it’s the club we as fans support, though we should always appreciate talent and excellence in a player and Viv was most certainly in the top two all time best players to wear the famous Red & White for the ladies team .

@@Uda007 only one team can win a title and building a team to be that one team takes time. It’s not just about the 11 players that start the game it’s about the entire squad. Yesterday the Chelsea’s manager made the comment that she has to tell three players they wasn’t in the match day squad and all of the Chelsea players are full internationals. Far too many compare the women’s game to the men’s but as we both know it’s not the same because stating the obvious women are different to men, physically, mentally and emotionally. Every world class manager be they in the women or men’s game needs time and support to find the right pieces of the puzzle , our role as supporters is to encourage and believe. I’ve been a Gooner for longer than you have been alive I think and I’ve watched women’s football since it began ( properly ) in the eighties I’ve seen both the men and the ladies play excellent football and awful football. It goes with the territory of being a football supporter though many others don’t have the expectations of us gooners I know that generally people/ players perform better when they feel appreciated and comfortable in their surroundings and that again takes time. The manager is a good man if we support him and the players they will achieve great things together we just need to be patient and the board just need to back him , which to be fair they have so far.

Sam Kerr was missing from Chelsea for half the season yet they still won. By your warped logic she wasn't missed, which is ridiculous. Players do come and go, but some teams make much better decisions in regard to players than others. Arsenal is one of the others.

@@ExternalInputs I thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts on my ‘logic’ but in all honesty I think you replied to the wrong person because your comment makes no sense in relation to my thoughts I made no mention of Sam Kerr or one player making the difference ( though they often do at the elite end of the market ) my comment was about building a squad strong enough to compete against the likes of Chelsea or City so if that ‘one ‘ player is out for a season it won’t impact the end result. Of course in Arsenals case it wasn’t one player it was three World class players that missed the vast majority of the season but that’s what can happen and the challenge is to overcome those problems . Your reference to teams making better decisions with the players they have leads me to think your implying the manager didn’t make the right decisions at the right moment and I think that’s an easy accusation to make because no manager ever makes all the right decisions in a given season . Then to suggest Arsenal are one of those teams that don’t make ‘better ‘ decisions without any foundation or fact to substantiate your claim given the clubs history within the women’s and mens game would suggest it’s your logic not mine that’s flawed .

She is the best finisher from all 3 strikers we have. She just got back from injury. She needs a few months to get back at her best. Imagine she goes to Man Utd or Spurs? I'm fine as long she just goes to another league. I don't like we face her in the FA WSL. It hurts.
