After Chelsea scored within 2 minutes, I thought 'OMG here we go, this is going to be a battering', and the tv coverage cut to Beth Mead looking really apprehensive, but then one could see Arsenal get angry, and become absolutely determined not to lose. And in truth, Chelsea were never really in the game. They totally stopped James, Reiten put in some good crosses but they dealt with them, and overall it was a warrior performance. Player of the match for me was Rafaelle, never seen her play so well, she just got in the way of everything (and maybe scored although possibly that was an own goal). Kim Little was immense too, so calm when she gets it. Congrats to the Gooners!

This performance was massive. Up there with the performance against Lyon. Big shift put in catlin had Charles in her pocket. Super kimmy MBE little ran that midfield. Stina finishing her chances massive boost for her. From front to back, it was amazing. Chelsea couldn't cope. This is the Arsenal we saw at the beginning of the season. A big shock but a great win and very deserved! They stayed cool, calm and collected and I think that’s what won it for them. As soon as Arsenal put a second in, Chelsea struggled. They reacted with aggression and looked rather lost, Arsenal should have been given numerous other free kicks with the amount of shameless tackles being done. Arsenal irked them and they started to panic. I’m now questioning how they’ll be in the rest of the champions league.

As a Chelsea fan this video was a difficult watch but as l love your videos and know you're a gooner l thought l'd be brave lol. Yep, Arsenal marked our strikers out of the game so much Millie had to come forwards. I was sad to read that the third goal turned out to be an own goal from Charles. Hopefully this will give a kick up the bum to Chelsea for the big games ahead. Things are tight near the top of the table. That must be a good thing for the Women's game. This Conti Cup final was a great game to watch for a neutral...or gooner. Interesting for this old girl grassroots player. Never mind...through the sun and rain ;)

Wow what a great game. They simply wanted it more. Not a great fan of the new goalkeepers tactic that seems to be creeping into the game where they go down for little or no reason all the rest of the team go to the sideline for team talk. Zinsberger seems to be doing it more often than most.

Before the cup match last week I said that whoever won that would lose the final. When Emma named the same team, I knew it. She needed to make some changes to give Arsenal something else to think about. Then when Kerr scored immediately, I knew Arsenal would win. Chelsea went into complacency mode. Fatal, as it proved. Massive wake up call for Hayes and Chelsea.
