More of this please! If you have in your box of tricks the one dayers from the Aus tour of Sri Lanka in 1992 where the Aussies were kitted out in pink polos, that'd be awesome!!

Wearing England colours actually. New Zealand have had this ordeal. The beige they once wore has nothing to do with their colours. Benson & Hedge (for the 1980-81 WSC) had no idea what colour to choose for New Zealand and got those worked out and they wore them till 1988 in Australia. India's blue and yellow had similar origins. Here, NZ is actually wearing England kits.

Those were the days when Sri Lankan Cricket Board didn’t have any money. Kiwis wore uniforms made for previous tournaments. Sri Lanka never had such luxuries so players had to find their own gear. 😊😊

Its from Torona Videos. They had a large number of VHS. A contact of mine from Australia got hold of these. Originally bought by a Sri Lanka and then travelled to Australia with the lot
