Benny Green's solo on this swings more than our clocks after or round about midnight !

I realize this was 32 years ago, but look at that audience reaction. You wouldn’t see that commonly in the United States, even now. Says a lot about Americans’ ignorance and lack of appreciation of our own music.

Quien diría que ya andaban junto el trompetista Roy Hargrove y Frank Lacy que luego harían Crisol y dejaría ese solo de trombón para la historia 👌

JUST WHO NAILED THE EPIC FINAL? I THOUGHT WATER WOULD SQUIRT EVERYWHERE WHILE SOME LADY ACTOR WOULD FALL OFF A SWING ON THE TOP OF THE STAGE AND BY THE ENDING HIT THEY WOULD LAND IN A PERFECT 360 NOCLIP INTO A SPLIT

@mi channnal not at all. Jazz is many things, but showboating it isn't. Even Blakey had had enough of the solo by the end. You can overstay your welcome with too many choruses on a solo.
