Join us for this week's Art From Home with the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art! We will be creating Ikebana the Japanese art of flower arranging. We will also bring together our haiku, suiseki, and ikebana to create a tokonoma, the focal point of a Japanese house used to display paintings, pottery, flower arrangements, and other forms of art.
Share your work on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag: #artfromhomewrtma
To join in on the activity, you will need the following materials:
Flowers, fern fronds, palm branches, driftwood (be creative-any plant materials can work)

A flat or shallow vase or water proof container
Scissors
Blue painter’s tape
Bamboo placemat (optional)
