The Last Unicorn is devastatingly gorgeous film. I cry thinking about how it made me feel the first time I ever saw it, as a young girl. So scared about how the world attempts to sully the unicorns majesty, only to realize no one can take that from her.

Bluebeard is the fairytale character and Black Beard was a real life pirate that has been portrayed many times, and in many different lights, in fictional works such as Pirates of The Caribbean and Sponge Bob, to name a few 💖

I love that you mentioned "The Last Unicorn" and had it at the beginning of the video. That was one of my favorite movies as a kid! I'm a child of the 2000s, and I don't know how I ended up watching it. It's very bizarre. Your recommendations sound amazing, too! I will have to look more into them for sure!

Girl, first of all, you are amazing and your brazilian fans really love u! Second of all, if one day you want to learn more about Brasil you HAVE to know about Roque Santeiro. It's about a man who died 17 years ago and suddenly appears to shock everyone in a small town called Asa Branca. There are lots of mysteries in this novela, like a teacher who becomes a werewolf and starts stalking women. After that, stories about werewolves in Brasil just doubled. It's kinda scary and funny, but it's awesome to learn about Brazilian culture and sense of humor. XOXO, love you!💞 PS: i loved your recommendations.

u should watch “belladonna of sadness” if u haven’t. the movie is quite dark and graphic but it’s very picturesque. it kind of reminded me of anna biller’s work.

OMG, as a brazilian girl, I'm so glad you found this iconic soap opera. Ana Paula Arosio is one of the most gorgeous woman on earth. Rodrigo Santoro is very well known now, he's on the cast of the HBO WestWorld. I recommend you to watch presence of Anitta. You'll love it.

Give PJ Harvey a listen, mainly the albums Rid of Me and To Bring You My Love. Courtney Love from Hole cited PJ as the de facto women in rock during the 90’s. Her writing is immaculate. Other 90s woman artists: Breeders, L7, Lush, Elastica, Garbage, Bikini Kill, Babes in Toyland, Throwing Muses, Portishead, Sonic Youth (Kim Gordon)

Good recommendations, an album I've been loving a lot lately is Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral (1994), it's a concept album, all the songs follow the story of a man and his descent into debauchery, insanity, and self destruction. I think you would enjoy it, Karissa

Omg omg thank youuu!!! This was such a need!! I recently saw a film called “a woman under the influence” that you may enjoy….also may literally break your heart. It is a heavy portrayal(tw self harm/abuse) of womanhood/motherhood/mental health in a patriarchal world. I’ve honestly have never cried so much watching a film before 🤍

You might be thinking about the old French fairytale “Bluebeard” the folklore has been around since the 1600s. The fairytale is about a murderer, and it’s based on a true story. On a side note, thank you for making a recommendation about the book! Definitely gonna have to read it now! ❤

I was debating this moring on whether i was gonna sit in silance or watch this video while enjoying my breaky but i felt soooo drawn to this and im sooo thankful i watched it!!!! i rarely commet on yt videos but i FEEL SOO CALLED to it now!!!! this video was soooo goood and I remember asking the universe for new inspiration (i was in a music, film, art slump) and guuuurl u delivered!!! it truly feels like all of the recomendations had so many synchroniceties in my life and that im truly meant to consume all of this!!! this was sooo nice and I hope u do more of these in the future! as a lover of the spiritual and mysterious myself i enjoyed this video! i've also got some music recommendations for you that i think you might enjoy a bunch! Elusin is Norwegian artist like Aurora and she plays with electronics mixed with heavenly vocals... Taraneh is just a Goddess and released a new album earlier this year. And last byt definitely not least is Ivy Knight. She just makes theprettiest songs with the most gripping lyrics, my favorites being Salvation and Gun. I think you'll fall in love with at least one of these amazing artists. Keep creating
