I've just watched you bring a watermelon to life on what is a lazy summer day in Calgary. Still feeling lazy I watched you create a totally fun layout with books & coffee. And now, although I am tempted to watch you finish a few more journal pages, I'm afraid I have fixed myself a cup of coffee and am heading to my studio and a little creativity of my own. Thanks Vicky for your greatest gift, inspiration!

This art journal page layout is just great; all the elements go together very well. I really appreciate how you explain what art supplies go with others. Hi Vicky. Woooow. Fantastic. This is the second art journal I have seen you make, the first one was the birds. I love the way you use your fingers and all the different tools you have around. The way you changed the page by putting the clock and globe on in the left hand corner. I have never made any art journals, but after watching the way you have made these 2 pages, I would love to try and make some. You never know, I might be good. Lol. But one thing is for sure, I will never be as good as you. I love watching you making cards. You make it seems so easy. I think I over think everything, trying to make it to complicated. Vicky, You have inspired me to attempt creating my own art journal. You are so talented and I love watching your videos. My husband suffered from pancreatic cancer for six months and died two weeks ago. I have never seen any of the techniques. Very creative and inspirational. I am a traditional pen and ink watercolor wash artist, and I am intrigued to incorporate a few of these techniques into my thinking sketch book. It's always good to learn from other artist, especially those who have passion for their art, in order to break out of the rut. Thank you for sharing.

This one is my favourite so far probably because I'm a librarian :) I have so many great ideas from you. I usually think "oh I can't do this because I don't have this stamp or that stencil" but I do have a printer and lots of objects around the house to use for stencils so no excuses any more :)
