Hello sweetie! I make "clear gesso" with powder(baby powder) and pva glue,add white paint for white gesso look. Sorry I don't know the amounts to use,I just mix till I get the consistency I want. It's not real gesso but works for little old me! I love your videos,thank you for sharing your ideas and time.

Marta, I have used regular pencil crayons and then 'melted' the resulting pigment I laid down so it looks more like by using a dipped in isopropyl alcohol or Gamsol. It works beautifully to create a different look with the pencils.

Really love this Marta! I have just run out of my transparent Gesso, I am waiting for delivery of some more. I was just wondering today what I could use instead and I saw that I had missed one of your videos, this one, and now I realise of course that I don't NEED transparent gesso to do a piece of mixed media art! I have so many supplies that you would think I would be creating but for a long time now I haven't created and you have reminded me of why I begun creating. I fell in love with art as a therapy and today after such a long time I've pulled out scraps and basic supplies and i dont know i might try some more techniques just to enjoy the process and forget the worries that have been grinding you into the ground.
