Today’s art prompt for #getmessymay is LOCATION , but seeing as tomorrow is home I decided to combine my two Worlds.
The choices today are inspired by both England and California. I used collage, gelli prints, fodder and chalk paint to create a fun mixed media spread in my get messy art journal from ‪@GetMessyArt‬ . I decided to include coordinates and other little details to tie the pages together.
The biggest advice I want to highlight today when art journaling, is make sure you are doing it for you! It doesn’t really matter if others like how it looks at the end, because only you have to see it. So do what makes you happy and don’t second guess your choices if the pages you make are special to you.
