No, Carter was not a bad President. Under Carter, bad events impacted the country & him, that he had no control over. He did he the best he could to try to resolve the bad events. Biden, however, has caused all our problems with his bad policies. Carter did not cause America's problems at the time. Biden has caused America's now. Thanks!

@@honeybadger3570 USE CASH! That is one way to keep the interest down. Just keep saving. At 7% for 30 years you are now almost 2.5x the home price at the end of mortgage. NOT WORTH IT. You could save the cash and have it in half the time for a fair price.

We were able to have 6% Mortgage interest rates in our country for decades. HOWEVER, they were n-e-v-e-r coupled with inflationary costs of eating and breathing like we're in, and about to experience. I'm no econimist, but you don't NEED TO BE to understand the train wreck that's about to happen.

There's a lot more greed than usual. I went to a dermatologist, who burned quickly and easily, removed a few skin tags. Eight months later, they sent me a bill, for $550. I thought my insurance covered it, but I changed my plan, and didn't realize I wasn't covered. I was able tho, to talk them down to $410. And it probably took them 3 minutes to do that procedure.

The green transition will flounder fantastically. People will learn eventually that it is NOT green, neither ecologically nor financially. And what is more, it will require not less but more fossil fuels and likely generate more, not less, hydrocarbons. Add to this hundreds or thousands of new mines all over the world and the need for (even) more coal generated electricity and you have the fruit of this religion. And don't forget hunger. The real green revolution involved fertilizer.

Unfinished conversation. I'll admit that out of force of habit there have been a couple of times that I've gotten into my car, start it up and head down the road that I've had a cigarette lit. But I'm much more careful of that now and I'm able to maintain that a cigarette is to be lit as I drive down the road. As far as "juggling my options" is concerned, the concern belongs to me and I've made no decisions as of yet. I will be working no matter what. So please let the guy's life belong to "the guy", I already had a Mother. I know that people don't respect others but it'd be nice if people could at least pretend to respect others. A 7% interest rate means a 5 year CD at 8% WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT.Sorry to disagree with most of you but those Low intertest rates did alot more harm than good. What good is a 3% mortgage when it takes 10 years salary to buy a house. We need real rates to get us out of these boom /bust cycles that are now the norm. If rates stay high real estate is going down. The reason prices haven't fallen is that no one wants to sell their home with a 3% mortgage to a hose with a 7% mortgage . But over time the Dam will break
