The supplies in this box were terrific. I love the way you always show how to use the items by doing a painting afterward. And this time, we got three paintings plus a bonus one! I love them all. How coincidental - I paused the video when you started mark making and looked up some ideas on google and Pinterest. Even though I make them wavy I tend to stick to small mark details like lines, dots, and hash marks. So I downloaded some photos of irregularly shaped ovals that look like the underside of a mushroom, or fingerprints, or the center of an anemone flower; and how could I forget mermaid scales? Then I came back to your video and you mentioned the reference hanging above your desk! I look forward to your intuitive painting and am loving mixed media. I have purchased some supplies you introduced, like the granulation medium, Daniel Smith Fairy Tale Turquoise (who could resist that color AND the name!), and the ampersand hardboards. Today I think I will try using W&N iridescent medium with a stencil as shimmer atop acrylic ink blobs made with granulation medium. Thanks for the fun inspiration!

Watercolor cards wow! These are good quality, they are my fave! What a fantastic box! And not so « Christmasy ». Since, i stumbled on your channel, i have been watercoloring a lot. Getting back to it after a 15 year break. Thank you, cause i have been really enjoying myself doing abstract work. And when i paint, i hear your voice and get filled with enthusiasm! Doing a lot of abstract cards! I even bought the Kuretake big palette and that did the trick. Love these paints.

OOh, I love all of these colors! Your trio of abstracts are beautiful. I don't have the knack for abstract yet - I either do not enough or too much, lol, but they're so much fun to play with! After watching you, I've started using abstract warmups before I go to paint my usual stuff -- I've been a bit stalled recently, so you have been an inspiration to get me back to putting art supplies to use!

Denise, you should try those metallic markers on watercolor paper, you would be surprised how water reacts with them! The shimmery water look they offer is fantastic!

Expecting my second box shortly,and excited about it. The last one I received a traveling watercolor set was in it, just in time for a family vacation. I used it almost every day. Thank you for this lesson. It was so enjoyable. I must try painting on the Stratford cards I have. I've always taped copies of my work onto the cards, being afraid I'd ruin them. Now I'll take some gumption and do three at a time. Life is short, especially at 89😅. As they say "it's only paper. "

Gorgeous as always. I’m sharing my feedback, not because you have any control over it, and not to be negative Nancy. This is an international perspective. As you may or may not know, I subscribed to them after seeing Denise show the box. I subbed well in time for the July box, got my email saying it had been shipped (to Australia) followed up as had not received it, customer service excellent at replying, they advised that it seemed my package had been lost. They then advised me that they would ship another and that if I receive it twice please keep the second one. Which was kind too! Then I contacted them saying I’d had no advise that the 2nd one had shipped, I then got an email advising, sorry the premium box is out of stock but we will now ship you the basic box plus extra etc. Ok. THEN following that I got an email to advise that that order had been cancelled, so here I am at the moment having paid and still no July box. I’m just saying, this is my first experience and it is not good. And they have charged for the August box (no shipping notification) Denise this is not a criticism toward your channel, just feedback for International people who may be ordering

Very interesting. I'm so sorry you've had this issue with the shipping. I'm local to the US - so I haven't had that issue in all the years I've gotten their boxes. I've never even had a lost box. Fingers crossed that your July box shows up! 🤗

Aw! That is so disappointing! Maybe you will get 3 boxes at once. I've had issues with Amazon in the past and gotten doubles and I'm in the U.S. Seems the whole world is wacky right now! Hoping you get it all plus some and soon!

That is exactly how I said it on lots of videos and everyone and their brother thought to correct me… so in a recent video (This one: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jtNzeJxp0dzbc3U.html) I googled it and I played the official American pronunciation for everybody and that’s how it is: haa·nuh·moo-lay

@@2lilowlsstudioHello! I'm thinking that may be similar to the blender pencils in colored pencil sets. But what you read makes me think that you could use them as a resist and paint over the Mark's for some cool effects.❤️🏜️

Bought the box. Can't wait to get it and play. Wanted to ask...have you ever tries the Pearlescent Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic Ink? I got a set of 6 in the Primary colors. I tried them but I'm thinking they should just be an accent or some sort of mark because an entire piece of just the Pearlescent is too much. Your thoughts???
