HEY STEW i came across your channel literally today and ITS SO CUTE and i love it so much i run my own crochet business and im planning on going to the riverside art walk soon i just had my first market yesterday down in green cove springs and it was amazing so if you have any tips for a beginner vendor i would love that THANK YOU SO MUCH AND KEEP UP THE AMAZING VIDEOS!!

glad to hear your first market went great! :D im actually still kind of a beginner myself haha, but i can definitely give some tips that have helped me!!! - be open and inviting to customers! ive noticed that standing rather than sitting at your booth makes you appear a lot more welcoming and draws in more people! - try to keep costs low at first and then build up as time goes on and as you get the hang of things! having a polished and complex set up is nice, but you don’t have to do it all at once! especially if you might not have the money to do so :) start small! - make deals if possible! for example, i offer a buy 2 get 1 free deal on my stickers, and it really encourages buyers! just make sure you don’t undersell your products hehe - and finally, stay positive! i know money is a big factor and motivation in doing markets, but even if you don’t make that much or as much as you wanted, stay positive! markets are a really fulfilling experience and it’ll only get better as you progress :)) hope this helps! good luck on the next market!
