Mr. Karate was the scariest boss, for me. He was so fast, could pull out death blows at any time.... I didn't "fear" the others in the sequels - who could beat Geese anyway?

I hate first two games, cause they are very hard, but the third game is just amazing. The animation, the moves, the controls, music, visuals, everything is amazing in the third game. Wish they keep going on with Art of Fighting and make final two games, that would end Ryo and Robert's journey and start with King of Fighters or Fatal Fury.

Art Of Fighters, este videojuego creado por SNK, desde la última entrega, no volvió a crearlo más, lo dejo más bien Olvidado. Ryo Sakazaki, Robert García, Takuma Sakazaki, Yuri Sakazaki, King y Kasumi Todoh, sigue The King Of Fighters, como los participantes, y sigue en KOF

They left out the fact that piston tekashi worked on street fighter 1987 and Left capcom for SNK and created Both art of fighting and fatal fury. Also that art of fighting takes place In the late 1970s while fatal fury Takes place in the early 90s and it's a Separate timeline but branches off In kof series and garou mark of the wolves In garou mark of the wolves time line Geese howard is dead while in kof He survived.

The game's story is set a year after the original in 1979. Geese Howard, a rising star in South Town's criminal underworld, summons all 12 fighters both veterans and newcomers to the city for a martial arts tournament, "The King of Fighters." Geese was the final boss and series original antagonist of SNK's other related fighting game franchise Fatal Fury, whose story took place two years after the events of Art of Fighting 2 where the late Jeff Bogard had been murdered by the hands of his former Hakkyokuseiken sparring partner Geese, which sparks the revenge of Jeff's adoptive sons Terry Bogard and Andy Bogard to fight in Geese's next King of Fighters tournament which takes place a decade later in 1991, the events of all three Art of Fighting sagas is canonically a prequel trilogy to the Fatal Fury series.

in the original timeline it was takuma under geese s orders, when fatal fury was added tothe plot it became geese

art of figthing 2 en nivel 1 estaba asi de dificil imaginate en nivel 8 inpasable ..... y el 3 me decepciono la musica los movimientos los personajes no se sintio como el 2 para mi el mejor de los 3 incluso mas que los fatal fury 1 y 2 ya el 3 si mejoro bastante

The massive sprites and screen scaling may have looked pretty at the time, but there's a reason the characters were rolled into King of Fighters and Art of Fighting never continued past the third entry. The games played like ass and whoever thought a meter being necessary for specials was an absolute nut.

I think 3 was intended to be the final one in the entry, they got backlash from the 2 games for having poor artwork so they made the sprites in 3 smooth and big pretty much (I think it messed up their budget abit too).

Art of fighting invented staple fighting mechanics. SNK was always thinking outside of the box. Also At Of Fighting 3 plays pretty well.

Street Fighter 2 re-releases stealing the idea of "meters being necessary for moves", but swapping specials for "supers." Street Fighter 2's devs were absolute nuts by association!

I just realized this SNK timeline makes no sense if you take in consideration the FF and AOF games hahaha Ryo was 22 when he fought Geese in AOF2, who was 26 at the time. It was also at this time when Geese Killed Jeff Bogard, Terry's father. Terry was 10 when he witnessed Geese killing his Father. So Ryo should be 12yo older than Terry. BUT Its stated that Ryo is 23 at the start of the KOF event and Terry is also 23 in KOF 94. wtf? Geese is 42 in KOF 97. How the fuck Ryo aged 1 year from AOF2 to KOF 94, which happen 14 year apart and Terry aged 13 years at the same time??? Geese should be 39 in KOF 94, he also aged 13 years. What the fuck is happening.
