A very cozy space indeed! I think my biggest must-have supply is a designated place for the cats to sit, so they can supervise, but also no one runs through wet paint 😂 Currently that's an old ikea cart/stand next to my desk, with a cat scratcher on the top shelf (their "seat"). It works like a charm (usually!)

I can't live without my sketchbooks,they are a lifelong vital part of my creativity.You have created a wonderfully cozy studio space for yourself,it was a lovely gift to share a glimpse of it through this video.(Matt) I love that you can see the birds each day that inspire you from your window. What about 'Archie' as a possible name for your wooden artist mannequin figure.

I watch till the end, I can’t live without my peace Villier plant that brings a little bit of the outside inside, and also my water colours they bring me such happiness. I want to try the deep, deep light water colours so badly, but as my father just passed away, I went down to one disability income and I can no longer afford thembut I love watching you use them. I can’t wait to see you use their full pallet. Please do a really really long video where you swatch all the colours really big like pebbles and we can see everything. I’m very excited. Thank you for sharing your creative space it looks so cosy and such a lovely place to be a true Sanctuary.

Hi Kriksis I love your beautiful art studio. It’s a gorgeous space. I love all your bird paintings ceramics, vintage pieces. Unfortunately I don’t have a studio my place is very small maybe when my son is older and moves on I will use his bedroom as a studio that will not be for a long time but it’s a dream of mine. I work in my living room and have a tall ikea unit that stores my art pieces and also my tv unit houses quite a lot more of my art stuff and also shelves behind my door has books. I cannot sit up due to a spinal disability so I have to lie down on my front to create. It’s annoying as I would love to be able to sit up straight to work. I’ve enjoyed this video very much Thankyou for sharing xxx 🥰

Hello Louise! Thank you for your lovely comment! It's interesting to hear a bit about where you create your art. I'm sorry about you spinal disability. I completely resonate with wanting to have own room as a studio. That is a dream for sure! What I shared in this video is two corners from studio house I rent with husband, everything is in one room-his space, my space, bedroom, kitchen. Having cozy atmosphere and having favourite things around you can definitely make the space feel welcoming. Thank you for watching Louise

It’s so fun to see all of the paints galooore in your studio🌈 For me, I wouldn’t be able to live without the colored pencils that I have showcased on my desk. Looking at it always reminds me to make time to make art hehe! Also congrats on the Flexispot🥳🎉

Your cozy studio matches your illustration style. I saw so many things I would love to have around me while I am creating. In my own studio, I can't live without mugs and containers to organize pens, colored pencils and brushes.

This is so beautiful and cozy, Kriksis! I have a lot of little things on my desk that I couldn't be without! Some prints and cards from artists I love, insects, mini sculptures, crystals, books and a little porcelain doll I found in a thrift store in Switzerland. I don't have many art supplies yet, but I love my Derwent pencils too! Thanks for sharing your special space with us

Things i can't live without on my desk are 2 ceramic kitties: one holds my brushes and the other holds my newest color pencils ( flea market finds or from store) and my pencil holders/ mechanical pencils❤ and my wooden manekin partner, Frida

I watched the premiere, but then had to come back and rewatch the video as I missed so much of the studio tour 🤣 Also, I’ve never done a premiere, and that was the first one I’ve ever watched. It was fun chatting with you in real time ☺️ What are the dot cards, are they blobs of watercolour paint? And are the cards different ‘themes’ with their different colours?
