The presence here is overwhelming. Listening to Art I could physically sense how it is to go within. And as Art mentioned about his first meeting with Richard Rose I had a strong feeling that this guy is telling the truth. Thanks.

I release my partner from the obligation to complete me. I release my parents from the feeling they failed with me. I release my children from the need to bring me pride, so they can write their own paths to the rhythm of their hearts. I don't lack anything. I cherish my essence, my way of expressing it, even if not everyone can understand me. I learn from all beings, all the time. I honor the divinity in me and you. - Shamanic Blessing

It was incredibly new for me to listen to listen to a fellow Ohioan discuss these subjects. There are so many people the world over who speak on this, and it was moving to hear a "neighbor's" voice, accent, and cadence of speech. Some of my experiences are/were similar to his. I think I will seek him out at some point, for a chat.

He is very articulate and easy to listen to. I wonder if too much focus on my growth and not enough willingness to use my wisdom to help others makes me think that it's.hard to draw the line

Nice!!! Nisargadatta: "It is the clinging to the false that makes the true so difficult to see. Once you understand that the false needs time and what needs time is false, you are nearer the Reality, which is timeless, ever in the now. Eternity in time is mere repetitiveness, like the movement of a clock. It flows from the past into the future endlessly, an empty perpetuity. Reality is what makes the present so vital, so different from the past and future, which are merely mental. If you need time to achieve something, it must be false. The real is always with you; you need not wait to be what you are."

You can feel Ian being more relaxed just by Art's presence. Compare to Alain Forget's interview, and you can see Art's style rang true with Ian.

he moved to CA when he was 23 and lived out his career in the states. He died in CA. So, whatever, the point was made.

@@christylewis6473 no he was British like Isherwood before him. What else are you gonna gloss over? Rose said you have to be a 'Truth machine'.

To actually recognise or see the Being that you are is simple, do you get that impression listening to this guy?

The connection is that, one has not motivation to seek the Truth when everything is going well. But when one is depressed and suffering, they become motivated to find a way out.
