In March of 1975 Leonard Nimoy was interviewed by KMRH morning radio show host Art Young. Nimoy was in Austin performing in the Mary Moody Northen Theater's production of Albert Camus' "Caligula" (March 11 - 23, 1975). Among other things, Young and Nimoy discuss existentialist themes in Camus' play, Nimoy's experiences as a theater and television actor, Star Trek, and the future of technological advancement through the lens of science fiction.

Art Young was a mid-1970s era morning radio show host on KRMH (103.7 FM), broadcasting from San Marcos, Texas to the Austin, Texas radio market in the 6 am - 9 am time slot. The Art Young Recordings Collection consists of almost 200 recordings of interviews he conducted with local, state and nationally known politicians, activists, artists, musicians, actors, writers, educators and business owners.
