This is REAL music! I was probably 4-7 years of age when I saw this on television and I still remember it at 43 years of age. I miss the 80s so terribly.

I always loved Kool and the Gang but seeing this made me realise what incredible talents they were. JT Thomas sings from the heart with such clarity and sincerity, effortless vocals. As someone said his voice is like chocolate. Almost brought a tear to my eyes…

I love everything about this song: J.T.s voice, the horns, background singing, but especially Kool's bassline. It really drives the song. I wish the cameraman/director would have shown him playing in this performance more.

I saw this full Live Concert on DVD and If there is any Live performance out there better than this one I have not seen it...I was a Kool and the Gang fan from the 80's actually got some 45 records and thought they were like any other group till I saw this live performance...
