My favourite part was the superb impression of the small wooden tower atop the end of the church. I feel that the accuracy of the drawing was crucial here.

Awww...Paul! Love this video. My dear late mum-in-law.an her ancestors came from this area. We managed to take her all around those very same places before she passed away several years ago now. She never knew where she'd come from until I did her family history. She loved it and seeing today's tutorial has brought much happiness on many levels. Thank you 🙂

Just stumbled your tutorial few days ago, I was looking for a good rock lesson, there you are, history happened, I been watching your basic tutorials all day yesterday, even watched the Q & A. Another great tutorial and story to go along with it. Very entertaining and a lot to learn. I never thought that one day I would like to paint landscapes with all the buildings and churches standing around. But with your great way of teaching you convinced me that it's fun. Worcestershire is a lovely county, I fortunately live in Herefordshire which is equally a beautiful county 😄. I'm in the process of trying to learn watercolours, not very well at the moment but I'm sticking with it!

I watch Midsomer Murders because of the quaint houses, horse farms, country side, etc. that one gets a glimpse of. I am from the USA and we just don't have such beautiful atmospheric scenery as you Brits have.

I have just discovered your channel when I am looking for videos talking about good quality brushes. I still have not incorporated salt into my paintings. Soon. As a California native, and I am pleased to hear that my pronunciation of Worcestershire is the same as yours. AND I cringe when I hear it pronounced any other way... weird pet peeve of mine, I suppose. I love watching you paint. Thanks for your always creative and well made videos.

This reminds me very much of the spirit of a church back home in Tennessee. It’s the last remaining vestige of the now-abandoned community where most of my ancestors settled after moving inland from the Carolinas in the early 19th century. I’ll definitely have a go at it when I find a good picture. Thanks a million for the tutorials and inspiration!

I think that my favouritest part is the wee salt splay on the blue in the bottom right shrub. Id like that part in a larger, humungous scale for my wall. I do, of course love the whole painting... but sometimes my eyesies are drawn to wee corners 😂
