People don't know what war is until they experience it themselves. I can tell you from my own experience that mental problems arise only when the war is over. It took me five years to get at least a little bit back to normal.

This is the reason why we have war widows. The outcome is very, very sad. If you think about it too long it will bring a tear to your eyes.

My experience of Ukraine is that almost everyone, not in Western Ukraine, speaks Russian, if given a choice. Language in this video tells me all I need to know. My heart breaks for these women. I send my condolences and prayers for them and their families. They should have homes available where these women can share a home together, so they have a support network as they go through this very difficult time together.

There seems to be a lot of Ukrainian women in Canada lately, i think our refugee system opened up for many in war torn countries, some have found work already as often hear them talking in Ukrainian, not sure if they will go back to Ukraine after this war is over . Im sure many Russians have left their country too, thousands seem to be in Thailand and Indonesia.

I can not possibly in any lifetime understand the thinking in the society of treating people like this. These people should be cherished. They should be supported and they should be loved by the people. For if it happened to them it could have the those whom treat these women so badly. Now I realise it is a case by case basis. Where some people turn into total asses when a loved one is lost and it is their right to express how they feel which might sower the opinion of some. However they should understand that the person is in morning for a lost loved one. In America in Minnesota I can speak for my neighborhood which treats widows and people who lost a loved one in the military serving our country. We treat them with the utmost respect and carrying for them. Myself I tend to do manual labor on my time to do driveways or mowing or maintenance in the yards. Others helped with meals and flowers others moral support. These people should be the foremost respected people in the public's eyes. If you show them the respect that they are due then you will have a new morale for the soldiers along with each soldier knowing that if they die there loved one will be honored as they are and celebrated as hero's of Ukraine that will increase people wanting to join the military. We had our dark moments in American military history. Vietnam when our soldiers were spit on and yelled at when coming home from a war we sent them to fight. For decades our troop morale was down in recruiting from a draft force to an all volunteer force. When we started to treat our military families well that is when American forces seemed to be at their peak. Currently due to how the republicans have screwed over our military holding up promotions and other area's which inhouse matters for the military which is losing members for the first time in years by big margions. If you treat these men women and their families like they are your families they will fight and die for you. If you treat them like you are currently I would not fight for you as well. You have to have something to look forward to while fighting in cold shit weather. Or being under constant fire. Sooner or later you will shut down which is what happens to lots of russian soldiers. Your fighting for your land homes and families time to act like it. Or you might as well just give in now and save your people the heartache. Because if you give up now that is what it will be a death for nothing. I hope someone in the brass or whoever acts for these people learns some common sense on how to treat your people. I wanted to add this one part which people who are not military or do not have family members who served is this. The Soldier serving is not the only person serving in their place. They are often supported by wives children parents. These people are also serving their country in a way you will never understand. These people are the rock behind the hero. They are there to hold them up when they fall down. There the ones along with their brothers/sisters on the frontline with them giving them strength to fight and not to give up.

What beautiful people they all are .They have the right to live a fulfilling life. But because of the big countries of the world It has been taken away its right to live as it wants . It hurts so much to look at their faces . Good wishes for all this And lots of love from Pakistan

I wish there was more done by the Ukrainian government and people to alleviate the widows pains by shortening the time for the investigations so the widows are relieved of some of the financial pressures as well as to working on greater awareness culturally so the whole society can be mobilized in support of the widows and families of the wounded, POWs and killed veterans. Also, I believe Putin is harshly treating the POWs, specially the Azov brigade. Putin's propaganda about Ukrainians are Nazis has demonized the Ukrainians in the eyes are ordinary Russians.
