The part when the engine started for launch was so cool. And the Artemis peeking above the clouds and Fairing Sep and solid Booster Sep and the body engine sep. And service module sep. And reentry and splash down. I love everything abt this animation :)

there is a little mistake: Because Artemis 1 will likely be in a polar orbit, there won't be an earthrise.

No no u can see the earth in a polar orbit. The orbit just has to be facing earth.

How is it outdated? No other existing rocket has the ability to send a crewed Orion to cislunar space.

@@originalmin They use the same RS25 engines from the Space Shuttle era, it's a bit outdated yes, but I guess that's what NASA could find in their shelf.

They could have used the S4-B from the Saturn 5 as an upper stage. It would have given SLS more payload weight.

No, Artemis 2 will be launched to an elliptical medium earth orbit, then after checks are done and everything looks good, Orion will perform a burn to put itself into a free return trajectory around the moon. Then it'll re-enter and land.

I believe so. Artemis 1 is a uncrewed mission. They doing this to make sure if everything goes well before we make a trip to the Moon.
