The if the Eragon movie was not connected to the books at all it would have been a pretty good movie. But it was, this forcing a comparison to the source material showing it missed many of the points that made the book series so good.

@Stellvia Hoenheim Doubt it, I come from the opposite end of the spectrum. Never read the books, saw the movie instead and even though I know they are better, I'm less inclined to read them because the movie was utter crap. Sort of a "so bad it hurts" scenario. I don't want to read what could have a great movie adaption because it turned into something bad.

It is sad that I can justify the reaction of batman by talking about his unresolved trauma of seeing his mother and father die, realising that superman can't be that big of a threat if he wants help saving his adoptive mother. Now using daddy issues to create a sudden bond between 2 strangers is difficult and I'm not going to try especially since I honestly can't really connect with either character in the first place.

(even toward the ones I haven't watched, Or to the movies/characters that were bad.... But u still added some spice or flair, into them. Which made them interested and ntertaining to watched, despite the latter!!!) So with this video, I can feel a sense of.....disappointment tone, in your voice. From the involvement of a Disney adaptation.... So I hope they don't pull a " let it go -- frozen situation" on the upcoming kingdom hearts adaptation, that will done by Disney!

The one thing the directors/movie companies must understand is to never rush a movie from a novel built on character development. True that a lot never read the novel but give something better than a mediicre movie adaptation.
