Ooh I can see why Duke left his sire. Artemis looks badass but also really strict and stoic. If vampires are expected to follow their sire's commands, Duke would feel so suffocated, especially after having just run away from his father's home. Not sure if it'll happen like that, just speculating :D. Excited either way!

@EiCookie I don't know XD! Artemis literally just gave those vibes and then I saw the new episode and was like 0-0. (I was also guessing because in some lore, the relationship between a vampire and a sire can be really master/servant)

I'm getting massive 1910s vampire Legolas vibes from him, especially with the cloak he wears in Episode 4, and I love every last minute of it.

I remember him, another "failed experiment" of the Grinvoe clan to cement their noble line throughout the ages. Poor thing was taken from his little sister before entering childhood properly. Mina, thank you for such a tragic and wonderful ally for Airad, and Daria, thank you for adding him to the Vampair universe.

Actually the series aren't connected anymore- Mina made an announcement about it on her Kofi. The Artemis in Vampair is a completely different one from Threnody now.

I'm not trying to be a hater because I've been following the series for so long and love them, but what did change exactly? the suspenders? I mean he's the same as Mina's, the removed corset and rolled up sleeves are the only visible change I see in character design, ofc the lore is another thing

@@succubusrat6886 From what I can tell, they’re not talking about a change in design. They are talking about a change in personality and/or story and background. Appearance wise, they’re the same, but they won’t behave the same

So that's his name Artemis, he looks awesome he totally gives out a vampire who hunts his own kind. But he did bit Duke so there has to be a back story like if it was an accident or he hates intruders and drained Duke dry of his own blood.

We find out the name of the vampire that turned Duke into one! Sweet! He definitely looks like he has an air of authority around him. I love how you did the shading and the stained glass!

It reminds me a lot of the anime diabólik lovers, this Artemis reminds me of Richter Sakamaki due to his expression of anger and the sword he uses

Yes, he is a recurring character in Missmi's series "Threnody". In particular, "Threnody (Part Seven: Grinvoes)" and Threnody (Part Ten: Artemis). It used to be the prequel series to Vampair until recently when Daria decided she wanted to become more independent, cut ties with it and no longer use Mina's (Missmi's) storytelling. Daria now requests people see Threnody as an alternate universe and Artemis to be different takes on the same character.

@@B_g651 No, everything was fine and suddenly Daria decided she didn't want to use Mina's work anymore. I think NOW it may have caused a falling out, because Mina is rightfully upset by it
