The team is a reflection of the manager. If your manager can withstand these intense external pressure for this long, you shouldn’t be surprised by the resilience shown by the Arsenal players.

Last season’s target was NOT the champions league, it was European football. However last season they were over achieving and narrowly missed out on Champions league football. I saw a video where Edu makes this statement. As for this season, our target is champions league but again we are over achieving especially if we win the league. At best I believe he expected 3rd but let’s see what happens.

My good man, you nailed it. Hard to argue with any of those phases you outlined. It has been fascinating, hasn't it? Arteta and Edu and Josh Kroenke and all the management side of the club just seem really smart at the moment. They make good decisions. A fantastic young squad of players has been built. With all signs pointing to even bigger transfers being made. Winning this season could send this whole process into overdrive. Yeah, i think most of us would have been satisfied just being in the Challenging phase this season. Not anymore. Let's move straight into the Champions phase, huh?

Phase 3 was this year- getting in top 4. Phase 4 was challenging for the League 23/24, Phase 5 winning the League 24/25-26/27

Kudos to you. This was absolutely outstanding content. I’d change the word at 5 from “Consistency” to “Continuity” as phase 5 would be building a legacy of champions on an upward trajectory and sustained growth while at the top over the long term. Stability and sustainability are all associated with “continuity”, and not just “consistency” which is a much shorter, game-to-game objective that is part of the “culture”. Consistency is something that breeds through the club to perform on a regular basis and it is needed in all phases to become champions. Defining the culture, building characters, to become challengers, to eventually becoming champions. All this needs consistency from the club at every level and should be mentioned throughout the video, not just a term in phase 5 (as you have mentioned consistent performances etc already in phase 3 and 4).

I love Arsenal, as a great institution they provide young players with the opportunity to develop and play as much as possible. but what's even more amazing is that they also give their former players a chance to do another job. there are not so many companies in the world that have a family atmosphere at the top. maybe in small companies and institutions, but in big ones it's difficult.🔝👍

Things are going well right now but the January window scared the hell out of me when the club was willing to pay a huge amount of money for Mudryk. A play with very litle experience and had proven nothing so far. Thank the football gods that we were saved by Chelsea and we wound up getting Trossard instead. The type of player that is the finished article and ready to contribute right away.

as an arsenal fan, this video singlehandedly gave me hope in our clubs future

based on what I see: the phases are 1: building the winning mentality and culture 2: squad building / introduce the system 3: squad to win the league 4: building 2nd squad (cup squad) 5: To have 2 squads that can win the league and every cup possible, have players that can easily rotate and result in minimal drop in quality. Part of the later phases can be to introduce academy talents like Balogun and Patino.

Arteta has transform this team., they Arsenal will keep getting better and better. I believe any top player will want to be apart of this Arsenal so come summer Arsenal will improve the team even more. I’m excited to see what lies ahead. This is a whole new Arsenal family. But still I take it one game at a time and refuse to say Arsenal will win the league until they do.

Phase 1: culture change Phase 2: get rid of deadwood Phase 3: bring in young talent (that summer we spent a bunch on unproven players, the most expensive being 50 mill on white) Phase 4: bring in word class expensive talent (think Mudryk, Rice, Caicedo, all close to 100 million) Phase 5: consistently challenging for the league, champions league, and the best players in the world

Keep recruiting youth. Please don't change the recruitment strategy (okay, the odd experienced head) but mainly stick with youth.

Phase 3 was qualifying for CL. Phase 4 challenging for the league. Phase 5 winning the league and challenging for the CL.

Phase 5 is City and Liverpool - consistently 1st or 2nd and at least last 8 of UCL.

Not a valid critique of Ozil. I get that you were trying to make a point, but Ozil not playing had nothing to do with him being overpaid or underperforming. He would have at least been an important bench player to break down teams. He was omitted due to club politics. It was the executives who wanted him omitted.

3:17 Years after the fact trying to say Ozil was dropped for underperforming is just silly. He spoke on what China was doing to Muslims which started the storm. Then when he wouldn't take the paycut unless the owners made it clear what they're doing with that money they didn't like him calling them out and he never played again. Arteta was starting him regularly before that.
