Consider this your permission to create. For Emily Artful, giving herself that permission meant a lot of trial and error, and a lot of “bad” drawings before she was able to create the art that she most wanted to.
Emily’s advice for young creators is “don’t let what people say affect the things that you love, because those things won’t change.”

So good to see Emily! I’ve been subbed to her from way back, way before Mr Artful. Emily you are wonderful and you have been through so much and worked so hard for everything you have. Absolutely love Emily! What a fantastic beautiful person! Just a fantastic example that you can do anything! She really had a rough start to life but I'm so glad to see her up and thriving and living her best life! May you have all the happiness in your life! You deserve it!

Yeah I’m in that state…I love drawing, cartoons and characters…once upon a time I use to dream big, discovering new art, creating my own and share with the world. I was also told that art won’t provide for you…”all you know is drawing cartoons” or cartoons will get you nowhere in life and as many times as I was told that well it tools it toll on me and among other things, let’s just say that life wasn’t so great at times, but I’m working myself and trying to believe in that old dream again becoming an artist, an animator, character designer, while finding other creative interests, I guess what I’m trying to say is that I would be nice to live a happy and fulfilling life with my Imagination and creativity would be limitless. Also I have done some drawings that I felt good about that made me want to draw more create something from that idea of a drawing.
