The thing with GTA and rdr is the GTA games are loud aggressive and it's goal was to push limits both in technical skill and how much Rockstar could get away with. Rdr2 is the opposite. It was ment to show how great video games could be as art. John's story in RDR1 was one of the greatest in the history of gaming as a whole then rdr2 came along taking everything great about the first and making it more beautiful
