There is no place quite like Duluth harbor...I love these boats. The Anderson was on the lake the night the Fitz went down...helped with the search. What a majestic lady. My dad used to sail these boats years ago when I was a kid. Time goes by, but the memories remain.

Welcome to the season, Lady of the Lakes! 70 years!

Watched her pass through the Sault Ste. Marie locks yesterday with my little guy. I remember when my father used to sit with me to watch the lake boats. A nice distraction from crazy times.

Not one, but TWO master salutes! Very fitting for this legendary ship's first visit of the season. Love the multiple vantage points of the cameras.

This is the greatest place to watch these big ships so close. Thank you for the free, clean entertainment. Not a single mention of a bad celebrity being slapped!

This ship is one of the most older ships that have the opportunity to go back out to the lake to find the Edmond Fitzgerald when it went down.

Looks like December and January weather Brr. Good seeing her coming through. Missed seeing them all even though it’s only been two months lol welcome back and wishing all the captains and their crews a safe new year 🤗

Totally exciting, Springtime!

I grew up in Duluth and spent a lot of time at Canal Park. Lots of fond memories watching those ships come through and under the Ariel Lift Bridge.

She may be a old ship but she's as tough as ever and is one of the workhorses of the great lakes fleet. It'll be long time before they retire her
