Pelikula is one of the best duets out there. Arthur has a cult following here in the Philippines. His fans are devoted but not vocal. I have been his fan longer than I have been a fan of SB19. Arthur's style and his voice is something you would never get tired of whereas SB19 offers more variety. You are right about the amount of talent here. It is sad that a lot of them don't get the break they deserve because there's still a lot of people out there who put visuals/looks over talent. SB19 to this day, despite their glow up still get bashers on the way they look. It's frustrating really.

Here in Philippines collaboration of artists are the results of mutal respect and admiration of one another's talent hence they tend to work in person to experience each others artistry. He just wants to hold her hand and be able to comfort her heart when she's alone. Even if he tries to bring back the past, they may still be gone. I only wish that they can add English subtitles to his songs because the lyrics are super sweet yet profound. The language is so romantic and smooth. Yes, even his humming is so affectionate and can literally melt the heart of the listener. Bugoy’s life story is so very endearing and it shows in his voice. Extremely humble and still remains very modest inspite of his success. Bugoy’s pet growing up was a carabao because he worked the planting fields as a very young farmer!

I'm growing a new fondness for the Filipino language listening to Pelikula. The stringing of words together here makes me think of the word "malambing", translated as affectionate if used as an adjective for a person, but to describe sound could mean kittenish if that's even a proper word. 😅

He has a friend Adie almost same style but different. He did Wish Bus too. Singing Paraluman and Mahika(duet). These kind of music are my chill sounds. So peasant to the ear. Most reactors would always be amazed by how they could just sit there and sing so casually just like jamming in some corner...we do have a lot of good singers and opm songs. Perhaps because you may have gotten stuck on SB19 which is understandable because ATIN is so active in social media and has been incessantly plugging SB19 and the individual members HOWEVER, they(PPop groups) are a minute portion of the Filipino music scene. Name a genre and we have it! OMG, the lyricism in our folk music will give you the cultural milestones in our culture from pre-colonial to the present.Our classical music and dance histories dating back hundreds of years incorporating original forms with other cultures that influenced us along the way. Chinese, Indian, Asia Pacific, Spanish,American and everything else in between. Unfortunately, our own writings eventually was erased by the Spanish but a move to re-introduce may be on the way but it will definitely take generations to take root just as it abolishing it!
