How to draw a regular nonagon knowing the length of one side

How to construct a regular nonagon or a nine-sided regular polygon given the measurement of one of its side, using a compass and a 45º set-square.

I've drawn this exactly as shown and it remains a sizeable difference, quite a few degrees off. However, it did lead me to looking at octagon vertices assuming the known length is sitting in a vesica. Using one of the octagon vertices and the triangle bisector will get a perfect origin for a nonagon. That's the great thing about Geometry, it provides fantastic meditation and contemplation. 👍

Sin 20 = 0.34, here is 0.33 approximation, half of side is 1/3 of the radius

This is VEEEEERYYYY close but not exact. It's impossible to draw a regular enneagon with a ruler and compass.
