Since its inception in 1974, the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is one of the foremost Piano Competitions in the world. Arthur Rubinstein, who gave his blessing to the competition, headed the jury of the first two competitions (1974 & 1977).
The competition, is held every three years in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The recurring melodie in the 1st encore is delightful, joyful and quite befitting for this interview. This is a wonderful interview. Danil is an incredibly gifted artist. Thank you guys for posting this video. He said that he once prepared or studied 4 hrs worth of music for performance. That's a lot of music to remember - OMG. 👏👏👏👏👏🙏

Enjoyd this documentary - recital very much. I like the Questions of the nice, sensitiv Lady. The young Daniil, charming, aimable and so modest! His beautyful hands seem to miss the keys not beeing agree to handle the microphon. But at last there get the chance, to show wath there are aible to! "Dance Infernal" from Stravinsky! Just missing words absolutly mindblowing the way he playd it. 🌹🌹🌹

I got my masters at CIM and Daniil was in one of my classes (plus it's a small conservatory). He's a very kind, helpful, and surprisingly humble guy. He was one of the nicest guys at the conservatory without a doubt.
