Dr Drew is popular because he is good at EXPLAINING stuff, complex ideas. Truly someone to look up to.

Dr. Drew isn’t buying Arties lies. He showed up there to say, without actually saying, that he is continuing to support Artie and is willing to help him when he’s ready.

Do you think Artie was using here? I honestly can’t tell and I’m a recovering addict. Of course we all know he relapsed hard not too long after this episode

@@CircuitRider he 100% was doing the sub/H 12 hour loop he spoke about. In a great mood knowing the time is ticking and will be feeling great soon.

All this talk of killing brain cells. Artie has admitted on air that he is not what he used to be and it's obvious. His speech, the way he expresses himself, his thought process, etc, have ALL been affected by his abuse.

Artie was high in many shows..this is very sad to watch

When Artie was on the Stern show they ha a celebrity death list. Whoever picked the youngest to die got the most points if they died. The first to get 100 points (according to age) won. Artie would of been 1st on my list.

Suboxone is a replacement Therapy And You need to be On a good 2 year or less plan Saved my life
@-_-Code-_-10 жыл бұрын
while a agree 2 year plan could work.. ideally something like a 3 month plan would be better.. and starting small 2-4 mg... then after 2 weeks start cutting the films or strips to smaller mg 2-1-.5 over a few weeks span than start skiping days. and eventually your off and any wds are tolerable.. just my opinion.
@kapitolking10 жыл бұрын
No There`s a reason Doctors use 1-2 year plans because most people need a year to even realize what True recovery is. You should read into what suboxone does in regards to repairing damage done to the brain 3 months is not long enough the longer you are on it statistically increases long term sobriety. Its first intended purpose was as a drug used to wean but this has changed because of what the science is showing

William Gregorios sorry buddy been smokin weed Like HEAVY for 16 years when bonethugs was banging and i could stop and be alright honestly. I smoked pounds in a week of high grade smoke. Now its so strong i just need one hit, but i handle my bussiness. I stopped for a year just cause i had too, on probation. Didnt make me say fuck it and take a hit. Heroin would or any other hard drug does. You sound uninformed. The plant is a VEGETABLE and used for medical purposes, please grow up.

Some have a very hard time sleeping when stopping abruptly and cold turkey. That's all it does to me. When I broke my neck in a car wreck and had to be on pain killers for a while and then when I stopped taking them I had withdrawals. Abso-fucking-lutely horrible. I have heard how miserable opiate WDs are over the years but, MAN, I couldn't nor would've ever imagined just how miserable they are. There are not words in our language that can describe them. It's like every single cell in your body is screaming in agony, except the screams can only be heard by you. Now that I just read my description of withdrawals I realize that doesn't even come close to begin to illustrate how uncomfortable you feel in your own skin. Your skin actually hurts is a way that almost makes you want it off of your body. DAMN!!!!

He was an absolute asshole to Dr. Drew on the Stern show, it was really sad and embarrassing to listen to the hostility in that exchange... I don't blame Drew for not wanting to treat him then, it would've been like Jeff Conaway x100. A really, really bad moment for him in a sea of bad moments on that show towards the end.

Guess Dr Drew gave up on Artie, or more likely Artie reverted to his Howard Stern show view of Dr Drew. Honestly Artie has missed the boat. He can't make big money anymore, his money is running out, he has to do the road and standup which he hates now, he is older,fatter and uglier than ever. He can't get the girls or money which he used to be able to compensate with before. There has to be a point when you feel like it is too late and you've lived the best of your life and Artie is defs at that point if you listen to his podcast now. HS reunion is probably his last hope and that aint happening. Shame

Ya, what happened between them?? In part 1 he was talking about in his darkest days, he would still be coming to the phone for Dr drew......so what happened???

I dunno, guess he stopped talking to him as he didn't want to listen to him.
