It's been some days i have been consciously looking on my food choices and i'd like to share my views: 1) Replaced all bread, aloo parathe etc with sprouts, poha, sewai and it's working extremely well. 2) Have started working out and to avoid multiple supplements, i rely on our traditional superfoods such as chana sattu, moong, banana etc. 3) Just cutting down a bit your sugar intake such as coffee/tea/ chocolates and replacing them with good chocies such as nuts, makhana, unsweetend peanut butter etc helps so much keeping one active and energized.. Excellent video. And yes, we see a lot of health influencers now a days and it's worse. One has to be aware what works for them in terms of diet and exercise and figure out. Losing weight and being fit is a entire journey, we should try and take it slow and embrace the journey, rather than relying solely on some influencer to recommend us a diet and plan.

I always used to point out to my friends that roti is a just an economical way of filling our stomachs and eating the main dish which is the veggies or curries. Its not even nutritious but was great when people did not have abundant food to fill bellies. I even stopped eating roti and just started focusing on the real nutritional sources for a while and everyone around me used to be so critical of my choice. Indian cuisine is genius if used in its true form. Each and every spice, oil(natural indian oils like mustard and coconut), veggies, dals have their benefits. Only the high glycemic and low nutrition food need to be lowered in consumption like rice and wheat which were good for periods of poverty and impoverishment.
