I would like to urge Maj Gen S Saran to write a book based on his experience as an Artillery officer during not just the kargil war but also his entire tenure in the army. Maybe someone will make a movie on it someday, who knows. Jai hind.

Sir we need more maps. There is no Dah, Pandras, Yaldor nala and Limbu in the one map that is shown throughout

There were some constraints. Having been away from my home for a few months now, no notes or maps were available for reference or display. Just spoke ex tempore from my memory and a hurriedly drawn map on the laptop. Will post a comprehensive account with maps and some original pics which have not been posted or printed ever, once I return.
