Artimus Pyle releases new album paying tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd

God Bless this Man. Artimus, you have honored and supported the legacy of "Lynard Skynyrd" your whole life. Surely, Heaven must have a hellava rock and roll band. Bless all the souls lost on that day October 20, 1977. Their soul and spirit has been carried on by the love and affection that they left behind. They rest in peace, Ronnie, Steven, and Cassie , until we meet again . God's love is eternal.

I'd love to one day meet Artimus & have a good, long sit down with him. He sounds like a very interesting person & a great guy. He's a beast of a drummer. He seems to have a huge heart & obviously loves & misses Ronnie Van Zant & all his band mates very much. God bless you Artimus Pyle * To the author of this post... Artimus must have been in shock, he still says he was shot in the shoulder, The man that he says shot him, Says He Did NOT Shoot anybody, The Man said, he fired a shot into the air, If he was shot in the shoulder, He Would NOT Be Able to play Drums Today,

You are wrong. First, you weren't there, Artimus was. Of course he was in shock! 6 people got killed and his other friends were slowly dying. Artimus said in another video which you obviously didn't see, where he says "I saw a gun. I heard a shot. Something hit me on my shoulder, so I thought I was shot, and with what I thought was my last breath, I said plane crash". For all we know, it could have been an errant pellet from the gunshot, or a bee stung him.

It probably wasn't so much the type of plane but maybe the engines because it seemed like a lot of them crashed from engine failure
