I just have no clue how all synchronised swimmers can hold their breath for so long. It’s truly an awesome talent if you can do that.

It doesn’t really have to do with talent. They have to train to get up to that lung capacity. Anyone can do it as long as they don’t have a disorder or disability preventing them from doing so.

I was thinking the same thing, but they aren't only holding their breath, they are moving their bodies at a fast pace, while treading water and still producing and maintaining a beautiful, graceful routine. Extremely impressive and so entertaining to watch.

Training and practice.. it’s almost like singing, the reason singers can hold a note for so long is due to breath control and knowing when and when not to breathe. (I’m a singer and can hold a note out for 12 measures, which is like 48 bpm… Ive never tried to see how long I can hold my breath underwater)

Just a reminder A there wearing gelatine in there hair B they are not aloud to touch the bottom of the pool even when swimming under each other C if there smile is not big enough they get minus point D there probably dying underwater Mad respect to these ppl

Swimmer stamina, ballet feet, dancer choreo and strength and marching band uniformity in precision 🤯🤩 wow synchronized swimming is so underrated!

I have a new found respect for these swimmers now that I've seen how they slick their hair back and the amount of work they have to do to take it out. Synchronized swimming, swimming just in general, upside down, holding your breathe, facial expression. Synchronized swimmers have a lot of skills

I can’t believe people have so much talent to do synchronized swimming. They are basically running a marathon while holding their breath, resisting gravity and being graceful and happy looking while doing so. My mind is blown.

I'm still dumbfounded that anyone can actually do that. Like I have a hard time swimming for 1 hour and thes girls are just maximizing all of that pain and work into a rutine like 🤯

The most difficult sport and during 15 min show they use like 9000 calories. Huge respect. It Is a very challenging sport. Spain's team has the privilege that 5 percent of soccer teams' incomes are going to their training

One of the more dangerous Olympic sports as they have a high rate of concussions, not to mention the holding breath under water for long bouts.

As a spaniard I have to say that I love how apart of them being super talented they also implemented culture in to the dance and I love to see that. Synchronised swimming is one of my favourite sports to see.

No, it's Spanish. They say at the beginning "ay" and then I think they say "toma que toma", I'm not entirely sure but it's a typical flamenco thing

Mi unica queja es que españa siempre tiene que ir representando con flamenco 😅 no es que no adore el flamenco, porque lo adoro, pero el flamenco solo es una parte de la peninsula, hay muchas otras tradiciones que pueden mostrar igual belleza, y puede ser un gran paso para enseñar al mundo entero todo lo que españa tiene aun por ofrecer Pd: mis felicitaciones a este gran equipo, lo hicieron espectacular

Me and my friend where at the pool and I should her this and she said that it was a dumb sport and that it was probably so essay. So we got in the pool and I held her head under the water. Then pulled her up out of the water and through her. I said doesn’t seem so essay any more dose it. She gave the death stair 😂❤
