Artisto Colored pencils 72 set, First Look and play / Adult Coloring / Adult Colouring

My first look and play with these new Coloured Pencils. Are these any good for our Adult Colouring? Are they like a Prisma? Value for money?
I quite like them, but for the cash I do think other similar sets are cheaper and better value for money. They are pretty pigmented, and I'm impressed by some of the darker pigments in them in particular. They do feel nice to use, and are soft in the hand.

They are soft and cheap, but you can't buy open stock, so realistically, prismacolor is cheaper in the long run in the US.

I bought these and the watercolor set last year. I like them well enough. Not as much as my Albrecht Durers but of course these are not Artist Grade. They’ll do for my coloring books. Great video!! Enjoy yourself tonight!

29 US dollars a week ago on Amazon just bought them and love them but I’ve never had prisms or inktence so I’m still coveting😊 oh guess I bought the watercolor pencil I do love them

Great! is that for a smaller set? Prismas are softer than these, so it's how soft you'd like. I am enjoying these. I buy the Watercolour sets for the kids at school, (exam classes) they work well in classroom, and last pretty long even in that busy environment. 👍

thanks for the review. a bit of a let down with the double naming pencils. i think i'll stick to my prismacolors

Thank you for this review. I have returned mine because of the excessive crumbling which tended to stain the page and would not erase. I had other issues with them as well, so I returned them to our USA Amazon. The mix up on the color name on the green pencil and the blue one with the same color name was the same in the USA set. The actual colors on my swatch had some very different results than the ones on the enclosed color printed swatch example enclosed with the pencils as well.

I have these and personal preference of mine . I go to these more often than prismacolor. Now, try their watercolor paper or there mixed media paper...it's superb.

Thanks for the video Wendy, it’s annoying that these budget pencils are still just too expensive to be worth buying in my view but thanks for the information. Please can you provide the link for the sticker labels you use in your pencil cases, that’s a great idea so the swatch is already with the pencil! Hope you are enjoying your colouring this month x

😊Caran D’ache Pablos are hexagonal regular colored pencils. I do love those but it took a bit of getting used to the non round barrels.

67.43 CAD right now on sale…regular 74.81…same price as the 126 set of Arrtx. And the name is so close to ArtisTRO, which offers paint and paint markers…I wonder if they are related at all?

I have both sets!! I love them, and the cost on Amazon us was about 22$ for each set. (they had a 30% off sale) I am hoping for a larger set in the future!!

How would you say these compare to Brutfuner squares and Black Widow if you have those brands?

Hiya, I’d say they are softer than brut squares, and I think they have a bit more pigment than them as well. They are a different feel to black widows, but probably similar in pigment levels. I personally prefer them to both of the pencils you mention, but I do prefer a softer pencil, so I rarely use my squares. Hth,x

You need both 72ct of the colored and watercolor pencils, they make a 144ct set the colors are all different. I didn’t think they were very good by themselves.
