Judd's work is a revelation in both thought and form that continues to please, astonish and impress. Far from dematerializing art or being reductionist, Judd's work by the very virtue of its neutrality makes us more keenly aware of its material embodiment and phenomenological impact that a more variegated, personalized art presentation cannot accomplish nearly as lucidly.

I see content in Judds forms, not in sense of the expression of any idea but in negative sense, the intentional effacement of the artist himself. I see an artist hiding himself from signification.
