+John Sullivan What are you talking about? JapanStudio has sequels out the ass. They made like seven Ape Escape games, and most of their other IP's have at least 2 or 3 entries. JapanStudio is owned by Sony, and Sony is big business. You know what big business loves? Sequels. Sequels are easy money since most of the characters and ideas already exist and fans of the first entry can easily be cashed in on. The reason Demon Souls 2 didn't happen isn't because JapanStudio wanted a new IP, it happened because they wouldn't let the game be multiplatform. That is why Fromsoft partnered with Bandai Namco instead when they made Dark Souls, so it could launch on PC and 360 as well and not be limited to just the PS3. The only reason Bloodborne happened is because JapanStudio sent a fleet of dumptrucks full of money to Fromsoft's doorstep to convince them to make their next big "souls-like" PS4 exclusive. I'll agree that it is highly unlikely specifically because the president of Fromsoft claimed he wants to make more new IP's, but don't underestimate Sony's ability to send dump trucks full of money lol.

Since eyes inside of things is actually kind of a theme in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a boss version of the cathedral ward giants

The eyes inside were a lot of a lot of Pthumerian dungeon enemies and especially Ebriatas daughter of the cosmos

Now imagine that you are playing bloodborne, about to kick one of those giants' ass but then his body splits showing a bunch of eyes and an arm like the greatwood's on Dark souls 3, grabbing you before you finish to digest what is going on

@@SorowFame Her opening cutscene shows her cloak being held up by something that's not there. She's at least partly invisible, which fits, since we know that some of the Great Ones are "formless" (Oedon) and it's also a nice play on the "horror that cannot be understood/perceived by the human mind" thing Lovecraft has going. Of course she herself isn't a Great One, but she's at least influenced by them.

hell I didn't even use my gun most of the game. I just maxed out skill and whipped everything to death. For things that I couldn't whip I also leveled arcane and beat those over the head with Tonitrus until better arcane was available later in the game. At least that's how I remember it, it's been a long time since I played the game.
