since I started entering the world of art I saw the best artists as a competition, as someone I had to be better than, since I discovered you I realized that I should take them as a model, an inspiration and an impulse to advance further, I haven't seen the whole tour yet, but whatever it is, I'm sure it will be amazing, I'm always happy to see new perspectives and things that can inspire me. lots of love

23:24 this moment is so beautiful!! My favorite pages from my sketchbooks are those where my nephew has drawn, the first time I noticed he did I was so mad but at the middle I realized how precious it was for him to try and do what I do and leave some of himself for me to see anytime in the future I ended up in happy tears so now I encourage him to draw with me and if he asks to draw in my sketchbook, that makes me jump in happiness ✨🫶😭🫶✨

Had my computer on waiting for the launch of this video. As an adult woman, I have found the love of art again thanks to you. Just great! I get so inspired by your sketchbooks. I particularly love how you "study" styles, masters, and subjects. Jess, I enjoyed your sketchbook tour, I especially like it when you can see the line work in your studies. I prefer to see sketchbooks that don't have perfect drawings all the time. Sketchbooks are meant to be a place to make mistakes and learn from them.

I'm someone who has less creativity but I love to paint. I always wanted to be someone who see the world differently and someone who is visually and conceptually very good. Hullo Jess, I commend your attitude for creating your art! Practice is simply a key to being a well rounded artist, “practice makes something “ my favorite Kasey Golden quote. I have no idea if she is truly the originator but I believe that I heard her utter it in a video quite a while ago! I am glad that you are showing us your work, I remember in school that if I did not show my work process the conclusion was incorrect and wrong. I’m so grateful for your presence online, because you work with so many different mediums and subjects, but it’s so successful, and that inspires me so much. I struggle with seeing accounts that stick to one medium and one style, because I feel like I need to limit myself in that way sometimes to stay consistent or have it look pretty in the feed. I really enjoyed this sketchbook flip through! ❤ I struggle to let loose in my sketchbook so this was really inspiring. I’m kind of ready to sit down and work in my sketchbook now 😊.
