Re: your KZfaq metrics on these CNSL videos, IIRC you mentioned they underperformed initially (?). If that happens again, consider scheduling them so they don't coincide with AfreecaTV's uploads of ASL or GSL. Presumably many viewers are subscribed to both KZfaq channels, and if both channels release videos of length >>1h, that's just more Starcraft than almost anyone can watch in a single day.

58:33 You don’t have to apologize for repeating yourself Arty. As a person who only watch Brood War and don’t play it it’s nice to be reminded of different mechanics (e.g. that some units can fit between two assimilators but not geysers and so on). You also never know when you have newcomers to that game who don’t necessarily know the ins and outs of the game and they would be clueless of many of the things that make BW so unique. So don’t change that!

Terrans have the most ASL/OSL/KCM wins by any metric. Crying? Nah I just find it so funny PvT is so protoss favored and yalls still manage to lose because you literally forget to build the 2nd unit of the game LOL

Artosis, great cast! You are truly the voice of brood war for the English audience. Appreciate you bringing us these games with your commentary, never would have seen them otherwise! Inre: KZfaq metrics. I saw these videos come out long ago but just now getting to them. Had to find time to dedicate to them since they were long. But I appreciate the grouping. Maybe split it in half next time? -30/40 minute video is very doable (e.g. Falcon Paladin has success with that)

"The dragoon usually pops out at 3:12, but this one popped out at 3:09, so this was really fast." That's one of the reasons I love Broodwar so much. The optimization these guys have is just insane to me. The fact the builds, after all these years, can be new AND mapped out to the second... pure nerdgasm!! Broodwar forever man!

I’ve been meaning to ask, since I couldn’t find it anywhere using Google, how do players qualify for ASL? is there a pre-tournament tournament, based off ladder, previous ASL placement?

personally I didn't click on vids with non korean players after watching a cast you did on some north american players and the standard of play just wasn't there, watching high end play is just more fun. BUT, after watching a few CNSL games I've come around, scan and dewalt etc are very good, so im back on board :)

Hello, everyone! I have a question concerning Terrans’ defence abilities against shuttle drops on a TvP matchup. I’ve played Dawn of War for the last 16 years now and it’s much more focused on micro than macro compared to Starcraft. In DoW, unit preservation is crucial so I’m confused as I see that most players invest in turrets, Goliaths and their upgrades. Wouldn’t it be more economical to simply reduce the number of turrets and Goliaths to build a single Starport earlier and pump out 1 or 2 Wraiths to basically punish Protoss any and every-time they commit to a drop as a Shuttle simply couldn’t get away or defend itself when it’s only transporting Reavers and Zealots? Thanks for your feedback, ladies and gents!

He definitely canceled the dragoon. No way to know if accident or on purpose, it's possible he saw cross spawn location and tried to be greedy and canceled but that would be very surprising and dumb if it wasn't just an accident

SC is the worlds most complicated game. Boiling it down to rock paper scissors though, there seem to be a lot of incredibly good pro players that just don't play rock. Best paper/scissors players in the world without rock will have losing matchups that are incredibly difficult to overcome.

CNSL is exclusively for people who did not qualify for the current ASL season. the tournament has always featured pros. Hyuk for example made it to several kespa era tournaments rounds of 8.
