No , they didnt live peacefully together. You armenians werent even allowed in to East-Roman cities ruled by byzantine greeks. When turks conquered the cities you armenians did get entrance to the cities. So you are full of bullshit as your history. You can ask your armenian church or historians about this historical fact.

+Gemma Matinyan it's kinda funny that the original composer is Ahmet Kaya, who is a nice Kurdish guy :) So maybe there is something Armenian in Greeks, Turks and Kurds and vice versa.

The original composer is Ara Dinkjian. The lyricist is Lina Nikolakopoulou. Eleftheria released this in 1991 in her album Μενω Εκτος. Ahmet Kaya released it in 1994 in his album Şarkılarım Dağlara.

+ilhan tdk I'm quite confident that she is well aware of the background to the song and all it's implications. Eleftheria seems to be a very intelligent and wise woman, nobody's fool, as well as being an exemplary singer.

+Has I I purchased the vinyl Meno Ektos in 1991, when it first appeared. Among the other songs listed on the back (i'm looking at the cover as i write) are 'Dynata'. The lyrics are by Lina Nikolakopoulou.

The musicians on a video should all be named, and not just the stars! We hear an amazing solo played on a ney (or kavali?) by Manos Ahalinotopoulos (who is best known for his virtuosity on klarino (clarinet), but his name is not on the video, nor that of the other musicians except for, of course, Ara Dinkjian, who is playing an instrument not known to many people, and which should also have been named. It is called tzumbus.
