You can try the demo before buying. Also, in Analog Lab V, you'll get some of the V8 Collection. I wasn't going to upgrade but the new additions (especially the new Jup-8) are pretty fab.

Hi there. I don't have Reaper running here at the moment. If you drop an instance of the Vocoder into a track, there will be host-specific instructions available for getting audio input. In Pro Tools and Ableton it did require routing.

@@CatSynthTV yes i got it, messed around, i don't think i need to route with Reaper but wont be able to change midi notes. thank you :)

Hi. Two options for getting the voice in. 1) Save it as a WAV file and use the Vocoder in sample mode. 2). Route input directly. Go to the gear button and click tutorials - the instructions for your DAW (in this case, Cubase, should be there).

I’m not part of Arturia myself 😸. But yes, you need side-chain support for Voice in. Alternative is to record the voice separately and input into the Vocoder as samples.

Totally understand. I do wish there was a way besides sidechains to get in audio. I have given this feedback to Arturia.

@@CatSynthTV I have perhaps a solution but not tested, yet! I could install Vocoder V standalone on a computer, and I link the Out in a the In of another computer with my Cubase installed. I think it could work ! No need Side Chain but only 2 computers !

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, FL Studio does not allow audio input into instrument plug-ins, so it cannot directly process voice. But if you record your vocal segments separately, you can import them into the Vocoder V as samples in sample-player mode.
