First attempt and first drawing from you…. New to Procreate and omgosh I just created something really cool….. thank you so much…. Never used layers before or selection tools so this is new to me ( 48 year old mum with very techie son, I bought iPad Pro and Apple pencil and he bought me Procreate and said “ LEARN!!!” , me being a traditional pencil and paper artist and not that good either thought, “ How?” then I found you Flo……) I am stunned… it took me about 2 - 3 hours in total but I’m totally chuffed with the finished look! 2nd tutorial completed, I am not sure if it is the pen I am using as the lines don’t draw the same thickness, but I am not using an official apple pen and it doesn’t have the pressure function. I keep having problems with the disappearing selection box. I would make a selection and then start to add or subtract a selection and the box on the bottom would disappear. Has anyone else had that problem, and how do you set the selection box to reappear? I keep needing to just start the selection over again.

It seems like when I am using the fineliner brush, it is not showing up as fully filled in as it does in the video. When I apply more pressure with my pen it makes it bolder but also thicker than I want. Is it something I am doing "incorrectly"?
