Earlier she mentioned that she was called a "man chaser" if she hung out with guys as she grew older, so she eventually distanced herself from them to avoid it. And now she mentions that her dad basically threatened any boy who hung out with her as a kid. (Though, from what she mentioned earlier, she still managed to have a few guy friends until the name calling)

For some context: 5 of the pizzeria-girls went to Disney and had some drinks/food. IIRC. Aria-chan, Tooko-chan, Meloco and Reimu were with her. A few hours after this, Maitake showed up and Arusan invited him to Disney. Not sure if they were just doing a bit, tho. He also invited him for takoyaki afterwards. lmao. Also, "Aruko" was born during that 3+ hours stream.

Here I realized that unlike Yuu Kashima, who has Mikorin, Ao doesn't seem to have a male friend that close. And as I took in what she said about her father, I remembered how Kobo treats Altare as an older brother figure, though I should note that as far as I've learned, the struggle Kobo has with her actual older brother is his neurodivergence getting in the way rather than something like Papa-kuyu being overprotective. Anyway, even with Aruran having this younger form, he is still very dad, and for that as well, I am very glad.

It's only sad to see these kinda of toxic parents are still seen as cool and awesome for whatever reason. Some people even encourage it like:"He's not huring anyone, he's just "protective" and "cares" for his daugther ALOT". And what's not seen or most likely happens ignores their childrens wishes and happiness and force their ideals on them. Let's hope AO had a not or atleast less toxic youth unlike others, like no screaming or veatings out of "love".
