The drama overall discusses the idea of embracing change and flying high by losing all the weight for the women of Pakistan
Sar-e-Rah is an exceptionally well-written drama, which discusses the stories that are scattered all around us but unfortunately we tend to shy away from shedding some light over them.
Sar-e-Rah will share the stories of women who are the victim of child marriages, girls who are being suffocated solely because of their gender, daughters who are unable to help their fathers as their honor will be at “stake” and a intersex who is being humiliated for his identity.

Today’s episode is perfect education for Pakistani society… my sister suffered exactly same that doctor suffered in this episode… unfortunately, my sister is no more in this world now. Her in laws said she did suicide but I want to tell this world WHAT SHE WAS SUFFERING FROM and a helpless brother couldn’t save his sister from abroad… I can’t bring back her but still I remember her and cry because she was innocent and educated enough.. within 1.5 years of marriage everything happened. I WON’T LET HER IN LAWS GO AWAY SIMPLY… will raise my voice and get justice for her …

I cannot believe this progressive show is coming from Pakistan. WOW! It’s really heartwarming to know that there are people in Pakistan who are forward thinking and live with the times. Never judge a book by it’s cover they say, (and never believe politicians and their propaganda) This is one of the best shows I’ve watched in a long long time. Amazing episode. No love triangles no rhona dhona just pure reality. The fact that she said "ganda khoon" to an innocent child displays the mentality of many women in the elder generation. There is no such concept in Islam, we are all equal in the sight of Allah. I am happy she decided to stay with her mum.

@@MegaNainaa If you are a Muslim you should know that it is allowed and very much encouraged in Islam to adopt children, especially orphan children so you can give them shelter, a loving home/environment, good tarbiyyat, a better life in general. Our Prophet Muhammad (saw) also adopted Hazrat Zayd as his son. Thank you.

This marvelous piece is about Rania's journey and how she meets people from different walks of life. How she influences them and them her. I would love to watch a scene where Rania and her father share their experiences and how she learns he teaches her from his. Finally acknowledges that a daughter is not just to be married off but she can be your supporter. Support daughters educate them let them be their own individual and independent. They know where to draw the line trust them believe in them.

When watching 2 episodes, i found that its too good and depicts the reality of our Society.. I too am from Nepal. Pakistani series have always been the best. I am 36 years old. I remember watching Pakistani drama with my family when I was 9 years old. My parents used to love Pakistani drama. As far as I remember Nepali national television used to broadcast Pakistani series back then.

Real issues of all women's particularly in Asian countries (where the women's are still struggling against pre-judice/biased/traditional anti women thought process) have been raised/shown in SAR-E-RAH. More serials must be created consistently to raise awareness for their right among women of this region (khitte). Such scripts DO DESERVE appreciation.

It’s a very powerful story. One thing that’s very rightly pointed out in the drama is that the older generation women tends to be the biggest enemies of the young generation women and the cycle continues. The shackles of suffering won’t stop until women start to support each other across the generation.
